We’ve reached the middle of the work-week. Wednesday—or Odin’s Day, if you want to get to the meat of the word—cleaves the week in twain. And each day past Sunday, the NYT Mini Crossword gets a tiny bit more challenging, culminating in the big Saturday puzzle,

The NYT Mini is a smaller, quicker, more digestible, bite-sized version of the larger and more challenging NYT Crossword, and unlike its larger sibling, it’s free-to-play without a subscription to The New York Times. You can play it on the web or the app, though you’ll need the app to tackle the archive.

This was a tricky Mini, though I enjoyed the Bob Dylan references. Even the shorter ones were a bit tricky. BRR? That took me a spell. Fortunately, getting a couple later words like HEX and REDUX helped me work my way backward and I finished this in just under a minute. Just by a hair!
