Sarah Hackett brings international award-winning Brisbane home to market

The agent named most influential woman in the Australian property market has been called on to sell a Brisbane home that scooped an international award for its design.

And Sarah Hackett’s marketing campaign for 36 Langside Rd, Hamilton Hill, will be just as bespoke as the residence, which was awarded ‘Best Development Residential Property – Australia’ at the International Property Awards London this year.

The Managing Director of Place New Farm, who took home the title of Most Influential Woman in Property at last year’s REA Excellence Awards, Ms Hackett said homes the calibre of TORRE were incredibly rare in the area.

“Hamilton Hill is predominantly significant estates that have been held tightly in families for years,“ Ms Hackett said.

“So to get a new home in this current climate with construction costs the way they are is quite rare.

“To be able to knock down an older house and build a new one in Hamilton Hill is incredibly rare.”

Ms Hackett said the home itself had been constructed to the highest standards, with a host of incredible features.

TORRE redefines liveable luxury with 694sq m of living space over three levels, featuring a private lift, marble accents, and a glamorous 10×4-metre swimming pool.

The Spanish-inspired home, nestled in Hamilton Hill, includes a gourmet kitchen with Gaggenau appliances, an entertainment lounge with a wet bar, and an opulent master suite with city and river views.

Additional highlights include a dedicated gym, a secure six-car garage, and proximity to Brisbane’s CBD and prestigious schools.

“The car basement has room for up to eight cars, the kitchen bench top was bought in from a quarry in Italy,” Ms Hackett said.

“There’s a lift to every level and there’s great city views.”

Ms Hackett said the marketing campaign had been customised to attract certain types of buyers.

“We’ve been doing a lot of marketing towards the private schools in the area because it’s a larger type of home,” she said.

‘We’re certainly targeting high net worth professionals and those school precincts make it really convenient living there.”

Ms Hackett said so far there’s been a lot of interest from local buyers.

“The property has only been on the market for a week, and most of the interest has come from families at the private girl’s school St Margarets,” she said.

She said the attention to detail is really something that sets the property apart.

“They’ve gone the extra mile where other people would compromise,” she said.

“It really is something special.”
