Like every year, the Cincinnati Bengals have worked with a number of local prospects from nearby schools ahead of the 2025 NFL draft.
Some, like big-name running backs, stick out more than others, though.
Another to count in the big name bucket is Toledo defensive lineman Darius Alexander, who eet with around 10 teams, one of those being the Bengals, according to Justin Melo of The Draft Network.
Given the general consensus of his stock so far, Alexander could be one of the top players on Cincinnati’s board in the second round of the draft. He’s got a nice set of tools as a pass-rusher already and is an overall high-upside sort of prospect.

Cincinnati, of course, continues to hunt for the right combination of guys to replace the production lost when DJ Reader departed, especially after the Sheldon Rankins signing flopped last season.
Alexander would make for an interesting, younger trio inside for the Bengals along with second-year players Kris Jenkins Jr. and McKinnley Jackson.
